The Social Cohesion and Reconciliation (SCORE) Index was developed through a partnership between UNDP-ACT and the Centre for Sustainable Peace and Democratic Development (SeeD), with USAID funding.
The SCORE index is a tool designed to measure social cohesion and reconciliation as two indicators of peace in multi-ethnic societies around the world.
The SCORE index can provide a good snapshot of what the relationships within and between groups are in a country at a specific point in time. This is done by providing scores on a number of dimensions, such as social cohesion and reconciliation, for different groups, and also for various demographic categories within these groups.
The platform allows you to explore these scores, to find out more about the index and its methodology, and to meet and contact the team that is behind its implementation.
